Here's Everything We Know About Season 4 Of "13 Reasons Why" So Far
Season 3 of the controversial show hit Netflix today.
If you've been awake long enough to log into Netflix today, you've probably seen that Netflix has finally released season three of 13 Reasons Why to the platform. The first two seasons of the show featured plenty of controversial content, yet fans remained incredibly loyal to it and saw a need for the show to push on. 13 Reasons Why season 4 has already been confirmed, here's what we know.
When the first trailer for season three dropped a few weeks ago, the streaming service also confirmed that the show will be getting a, but the fourth will also be the last of the show.
Netflix has neither confirmed nor denied who will be cast in the final season. We know that Katherine Langford left the role of Hannah Baker behind after season two, so we won't be seeing her. We also know that Bryce Walker is dead in season three, so the likelihood of him making a re-appearance in season four is slim to none.
None of the show regulars have signed on so far, but it would be hard to picture the show being the same without Clay (played by Dylan Minette), Jessica (played by Alisha Boe), and Justin (played by Brandon Flynn).
One final thing we're expecting from the fourth and final season is that it's going to take a different approach to things. Both season one and two are known to have quite graphic and triggering scenes (Netflix has even recently gone back to remove Hannah Baker's suicide scene from the first season after facing backlash), but the show's creators may choose to be more careful going forward to avoid criticism from audiences.
We have no idea when to expect the final season of 13 Reasons Why, but given that we JUST were given the third season today, we may be waiting a while. You can check out the trailer for season three below.
