The Disappearance Of Madeleine McCann is the newest docuseries to enter Netflix Canada. While the case has been around since 2007, people are super interested to hear everything about it. It's the world's most famous missing child case, which means there is a lot of information. If you've already finished it, then you need to watch these 6 shows on Netflix Canada that are just as haunting as The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann

If you're not good with eerie and scary docuseries, I maybe wouldn't watch this one. Madeleine McCann was a 3-year-old who was abducted out of her hotel room while on a family vacation in Portugal. They have still not found the kidnapper, which means the case is still ongoing. If you've finished the series and want something similar, look no further.

Dirty John

If you haven't seen Dirty John, what are you waiting for? It's about a woman who meets a man on a dating site, and they end up falling madly in love. Even though her daughters don't trust him, the mom just thinks they're being dramatic. Turns out, the man, who is named John Meehan, is nothing like he says he is. The story is a true story, and the way it ends is shocking.

I Am A Killer

Ever wondered what it's like to be on death row? These inmates in I Am A Killer give a reason to why they're in jail, and why they were sentenced to death row. 91% of Google Users loved this show, but beware, it's not an easy docuseries to watch.

Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes

If you think The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann is hard to get through, try watching The Ted Bundy Tapes. Not only will you be shocked at how charming Ted Bundy can be, but you'll feel really weird hearing tapes of Ted Bundy talking which have never been released. The series got so much buzz, and you won't want to turn it off.

YOU

YOU on Netflix is kind of similar to Dirty John, but not really. It involves manipulation and stalking, but in a whole different way. Joe has been stalking Beck for a while but makes sure they meet 'organically' so it doesn't look like he knows her. From there, they start a relationship and he goes the distance to make sure nothing comes between them. It's a hard show to watch, that's for sure.

The Investigator: A British Crime Story

If you're looking for a true crime series that has multiple seasons, this is for you. The Investigator: A British Crime Story is (obviously) a British TV show where host Mark Williams-Thomas takes you through a ton of crimes and if they've been solved or not. There are two seasons, and each season dives into one case that takes you through so much information, and a ton of clues.

Real Detective

Some of the best parts about these true crime shows are the reenactments. If you love reenactments, then Real Detective is for you. It's a docuseries where real detectives take you through their most haunting cases, and the stories are absolutely insane.
