While I personally haven't watched '13 Reasons Why' for reasons of my ownI know that a lot of people are absolutely obsessed with the show and drawn in by it's dramatic and often controversial subject matter, as well as its ever-changing and always interesting plot line.

No matter if you love or hate the show, odds are good you'll want to watch something equally as interesting in the future. If you're looking for a new Teen Drama series to binge watch, you're in luck; we've found nine that can be compared to '13 Reasons' for a multitude of reasons.

1. Gossip Girl 

If you have yet to watch Gossip Girl, I highly recommend you jump on the bandwagon ASAP. The show follows the lives of teenagers on Manhattan's Upper East Side and all the drama and scandal that surrounds them. Twilight may be a thing of the past, but we haven't forgotten about vampires just yet. The Vampire Diaries tells the story of Elena Gilbert, a normal teenage girl who just so happens to fall in love with a 172-year-old vampire named Stefan. As the series goes on, things get even more intense when Stefan's older brother shows up.

If you though the plot of 13 Reasons Why was hard to keep up with, you clearly haven't seen Pretty Little Liars. Every episode will have you thinking that someone new is 'A', and the plot twist ending will totally shock you.

If a show that will make you laugh and cry at the same time is what you're after, you should definitely watch Gilmore Girls. The show tells the story of Lorelai and Rory, a mother-daughter duo who always find themselves in the most entertaining situations with men, school, and everything in-between.

If you're wondering where a lot of your favourite actors got their start, you may find them on the Freaks and Geeks cast list! Although the show only has 18 episodes, it's definitely worth watching. Freaks and Geeks tells the story of high school student Lindsay Weir's transition from nerd to "normal" teenager.
