9 Thriller Movies On Netflix Canada That Will Mess With Your Head

Get ready to be entertained!

Admittedly, I have a hard time paying attention to movies. I'll often put Netflix on as background noise while I'm working and not watch the movie on the screen at all. After the movie finishes, I couldn't even tell you what the plot was about or the main characters' name.

In order to capture my attention, a movie's plot needs to be seriously thrilling. Something about thriller movies never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat and constantly wondering what's happening next. If you're the type who also requires an intersting plot, here are some amazing recommendations worth watching on Netflix Canada:

1. Creep (2014)

This movie is not only thrilling but quite unsettling as well. It follows the story of a filmmaker who begins working with a client who has some interesting requests, and to make things worse, he may or may not be a killer. You'll continue to feel the tension long after the final credits roll, and as a bonus, there's even a sequel to follow it up.

The Invitation was created by the same filmmaker as 'Jennifer's Body', so you should definitely have high expectations for this one. After the death of his young son, Will, played by Logan Marshall-Green, is invited to a special dinner party by his ex-wife. Instantly, Will has his suspicions about his ex's new wife, and the other guests at the dinner party are acting particularly strange. As the film goes on, Will begins to question whether he's succumbing to paranoia, or if the party really is as weird as it seems.

This film is your classic home-invasion story, but it will still have you on the edge of your seat, nonetheless. The heroine of the film is deaf, which just makes the plot that much more intense. To make matters worse, she lives alone in the woods, which is all the more terrifying. Get ready to be on the edge of your seat as she fights for survival, without speaking a word.
