Just this morning, the original Netflix Instagram account posted an announcement for a second season of The Umbrella Academy. The new season will consist of ten episodes and will start production this summer. Many members of the original cast are sticking on board, including Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan, and Justin Min, among others.

The first season of the show has received mostly good reviews and is sitting at a 76% critic approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. We don't yet have a trailer or a release date for this new season, but based on the announcement alone it looks like things are going to stay just as intense as they were in the first.
