Get excited for the ultimate movie marathon! Nearly two dozen Studio Ghibli movies are coming to Netflix Canada this week. Among them is a handful of films that scored above 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, so you know they're worth the watch.

Recently, Netflix Canada announced that 20 films from the iconic animation house are arriving on June 25. 

The list includes titles from as far back as 1984 and as recent as 2014. 

You can look forward to beloved Studio Ghibli films like Only Yesterday, Porco Rosso, Ocean Waves, Pom Poko, My Neighbors the Yamadas, The Cat Returns, Ponyo and tons more.

These eight movies have Rotten Tomatoes scores of 90% or higher, so you know they'll satisfy your picky Netflix and chill partner. 

Whisper of the Heart 

Rating: 90% on Rotten Tomatoes 

Shizuku is a young girl with a big love for reading who finds out one day that all of the library books are taken. She sets out to find the mysterious boy who is responsible.

The Tale of The Princess Kaguya

Rating: 90% on Rotten Tomatoes 

A tiny girl is found living inside of a bamboo stalk. She grows into a stunning young woman who requires potential suitors to complete tasks that are dangerous and nearly impossible. 

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

Rating: 91% on Rotten Tomatoes 

Warrior Princess Nausicaä lives in a post-apocalyptic world and harbours the talent of speaking to giant insects who live in the jungle. She must work to bring peace to their inhospitable environment where there's a war between nations. 

Castle in the Sky

Rating: 92% on Rotten Tomatoes 

A young girl getting kidnapped is in mid-air when her plane gets shot down by pirates. She comes to behold a magical crystal while also searching for a legendary floating castle. 

Howl’s Moving Castle

Rating: 93% on Rotten Tomatoes 

A young woman gets cursed by a spiteful witch who gives her the body of an old lady. She finds out that the only way to break the spell lies with a selfish wizard. 

My Neighbor Totoro 

Rating: 94% on Rotten Tomatoes 

Meet the adorable Totoro, a giant rabbit-like creature! He's actually just a spirit that a pair of siblings meet when they move homes in order to be closer to their mom who's in the hospital.

Princess Mononoke 

Rating: 94% on Rotten Tomatoes 

Ashitaka sets out to find a cure for a Tatarigami's curse but gets caught up in a nasty war between a mining colony and forest gods.

Spirited Away

Rating: 96% on Rotten Tomatoes 

A 10-year-old girl accidentally stumbles into what she thinks is an abandoned amusement park. While she's there, her parents get turned into beasts and she must find out how to turn them back into humans.
