Move over LA because Canada is becoming a hotspot for TV and film productions. Vancouver is a pretty popular place where stars on shows like Riverdale and The Good Doctor live while filming is in progress. And another familiar face just joined the area! Full House's Candace Cameron Bure just started filming a Hallmark movie in BC.

According to What's Filming, the movie is called Aurora Teagarden Mysteries 13: Heist and Seek and production started on January 27 and will go until February 14.

Bure announced the news on her Instagram story yesterday with a series of videos. In them, she said, "Hi my friends. I just started a new Aurora Teagarden movie yesterday. Today's our first day of filming. This [movie] is a little extra fun because Peter Benson who plays Arthur the detective and Roe's ex-boyfriend is directing this movie. We love him, he's awesome and there's already a lot of laughs."

According to her IMDb page, the former Full House star has played the lead character named Aurora Teagarden for the past 12 movies. Teagarden is a librarian in charge of the Real Murders Club.

The first movie came in 2015 called Aurora Teagarden Mystery: A Bone to Pick

Last year, three movies premiered called Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Very Foul Play, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: An Inheritance to Die For, and Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Game of Cat and Mouse.

Neither What's Filming or Bure confirmed if production is taking place in Vancouver or another part of BC. IMDb noted that the most recent movie was filmed in Whistler, Abbotsford, and Kelowna. The very first one was produced in and around Squamish. Most of the other movies in the franchise included Vancouver as a production city.

The films are based on the Aurora Teagarden Series novels by Charlaine Harris. According to her website, there are 11 books in the collection and the first came out in 1990 called Real Murders. The most recent novel called Sleep Like a Baby was released in September 2017.

Bure's past costars include Niall Matter, Marilu Henner, Lexa Doig, Miranda Frigon, and Peter Benson but no other actors have been confirmed on IMDb for the upcoming movie.
