Canada’s Version Of ‘America’s Got Talent’ Is Now Looking For Families To Be On The Show
The application deadline is May 13.
Is your family weirdly talented? Do you often find yourself contemplating forming a band with your siblings or showcasing how good of a dancer your mom is? Well, good news because now you can! A new contest called Canadian Family’s Got Talent is offering an opportunity for families to show off their skills together, and you don’t even have to leave your house.
According to a Breakfast Television press release, the online competition is being hosted with America’s Got Talent in Canada, which is scheduled to return to the network this month.
Families whose entries are selected will be featured on an expanded national hour of Breakfast Television, which will be judged online on May 13.
To top it all off, the winners of the competition will be crowned on live television byon May 26. The former American Idol judge will be joined by hosts Dina Pugliese and Devo Brown.
“When I heard about this idea, I thought it was brilliant. In every country in the world, there’s always undiscovered talent, and I’m certain there’s plenty to be found in Canada. I can’t wait. This should be a lot of fun,” Cowell said, according to a press release.
The contest is currently open to, except for Quebec, who are at least 18 years old as of the date of entry.
Anyone under the age of 18 must have the consent of their parent or legal guardian to participate.
Any families interested in applying should make sure to submit their videos before the May 13 deadline.
Your application video must have been filmed in the past 6 months.
A grand prize will be revealed on May 26. However, there is still little revealed on what that might be.
