Toronto Pride Is Getting Surprise Performances From These Two Artists
All thanks to Bud Light!
Toronto Pride is one of the cities biggest events! Last year they had 1 million people in attendance and the festivities just keep growing. That's why Bud Light knew they had to do something special this year for the LGBTQ+ community. Carly Rae Jepson will be performing at the Toronto Pride Parade.
Along with Carly Rae Jepson, Bud Light is giving an up and coming LGBTQ+ artist, Jordan Alexander, the opportunity to sing alongside the pop star. They managed to get Jordan in the recording studio, to record a verse that they wrote for Carly's song "Feels Right."
They'll be performing the song on the Bud Light float at the parade on Sunday, June 23rd!
Bud Light hopes that pairing Jordan with an established celeb will get them the credit they deserve in the music industry!
Carly is no stranger to performing in Toronto, although she was born in British Columbia. The Canadian pop star usually makes the trip down to Toronto to sing at the iHeart Radio Much Music Video Awards.
She's recently been out of the country for some time, so it'll be nice for fans to get to see her perform in North America again!
This is an amazing opportunity to showcase the diversity and talent in the Canadian music industry on a worldwide platform! I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot about Jordan Alexander after Sunday.
