It’s the dream team Canadians never knew they needed. Dan Levy and Antoni Porowski have joined a new hilarious cooking competition show as celebrity judges. The new series, Dishmantled, is set to premiere on the brand new streaming platform Quibi when it’s launched on April 6.
The upcoming service joined with Chopped creator Linda Lea to create “a high-octane cooking competition that will literally blow your socks off.”
According to Deadline, the show will start in the most unique way ever. Two blindfolded chefs will be splattered with mystery food at the beginning of each episode where they’ll then be tasked with trying to recreate the dish.
The culinary master with the most similar tasting meal takes home the cash prize.
Like every competition show, Dishmantled is in need of judges. While 30 Rock alumni Tituss Burgess is set to be the main host and judge, EOnline sneak peek of the series has the two Canadian television icons starring alongside the actor.
Levy and Porowski will be assisting Burgess in an upcoming episode.
Porowski is well versed in the culinary arts. He acts as the food and wine expert on the Netflix series Queer Eye, has an Instagram dedicated to recipes, and even his own cookbook.
However, Levy doesn’t have that kind of culinary experience. Maybe he’ll channel his Schitt’s Creek character David Rose’s luxury expectations when it comes to food.
Other guest judges announced include Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s, Jane Krakowski.
The two Canadian personalities are also hard at work on other projects. Porowski is currently set to return to Queer Eye for a season 5 while Levy just wrapped filming Happiest Season alongside Kristen Stewart and Alison Brie.
