Get ready for more twists!
Get ready for more twists! Dead to Me season 2 is about to hit Netflix which means viewers will hopefully get all their season 1 finale questions answered. Better yet, the writers don’t have any plans to stop telling Jen and Judy’s story.
If you’re in need of a little season one recap, it followed Jen and Judy’s friendship as they supported each other through tough times. In a plot twist that changed everything, it was discovered that Judy was the one to accidentally kill Jen’s husband.
However, the season finale brought with it an even bigger turn of events. Viewers were left with the image of Jen shooting Judy’s ex-fiance. The two women were left eerily looking down at his floating body in the pool.
Although fans might be convinced Jen is guilty of murder, writer Elizabeth Feldman spoke to The Hollywood Reporter and warned fans that there’s more to that scene than meets the eye, “I’ll just say that you don’t know that she shot him.”
Both Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini will be returning for the second season that Feldman promises will be just as dark as it’s first, “This show will always be a show that explores the dark sides and the light sides of grief, loss, forgiveness and friendship. So suffice to say, there will be more darkness.”
If theis any indication, she held onto her promise. With the show picking up right where it left off, the video shows that the duo is in for another ten episodes of lies, laughs, and plot twists.
Although more seasons have yet to be confirmed at Netflix, Feldman confided to The Hollywood Reporter that she has much more planned for the show that could have it going on for a long time, “It would be the pleasure and honor of my life to do this show for as many seasons as makes sense.”
Dead to Me season 2 premieres May 8 on Netflix.
