Home Alone is the kind of Christmas movie that can be watched every Holiday season and never get old. It's probably hard to find someone who celebrates the season that hasn't watched the film, it's right up there on the shelf of classics with Will Ferrell's Elf! Now that Disney+ has announced a reboot of Home Alone there's a lot of questions that have yet to be answered, like will Macaulay Culkin star in it? Luckily, some important news was just released about the Disney+ Home Alone Reboot's cast.
The movie was originally announced back in August of this year, and until recently the public has been kept in the dark about what to expect from the new film.
While no one knows whether or not the world will be graced with another rendition of "Kevin!" from Catherin O'Hara, the actor who finds himself in the "same predicament" as Kevin McAllister was revealed, Archie Yates.
Alongside him, as reported by Variety, the film will star Rob Delaney and Ellie Kemper.
It's still unclear what the role of Delaney and Kemper entails, but it's been confirmed that the two are not going to be related to Yate's character.
Could this film see an entirely different plot from the original?
The storyline of the reboot is being kept extremely lowkey but the production did release some filming news just last week.
It was reported by PopGoesTheNews that "cameras are scheduled to roll from early February to mid-April" in the Montreal area.
The world will have to wait a little longer to find out exactly who will be "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and how exactly they'll be doing it in the new Home Alone Reboot.
