'Annabelle' Director Will Be Working On New Horror Film 'Lullaby' In Toronto This Month
It's spooky season in the city this March.
Parts of Toronto may be getting ready for spooky season a few months early this year. A new horror film Lullaby was just announced and is set to begin production in Toronto later this month. The film will also bring along Annabelle director John R. Leonetti.
The film, being distributed by Alcon Entertainment, follows an old folklore written in an ancient book that disguises itself as a lullaby. However, a mother endangers herself and children when she realizes the lullaby is actually a chant meant to raise the demon Lilith.
Producers on the film include Broderick Johnson, Andrew Kosove, Lee Nelson, and David Tish.
According to Deadline, the two are set to make their way to Toronto this month for filming.
Ontario creates has the feature film listed to begin filming on March 24 with a wrap date of April 28. However, the Film and Television Industry Alliance report that filming for part of Lullaby will take place in Los Angeles, California as well.
There has yet to be an official release date set for the film.
Lullaby isn’t the only film set to start production in Toronto this month.Flint Strong. production starring Cate Blanchett and Bradley Cooper has also been spotted around Toronto with its wrap date listed for the first week of May.
