On a film set, set decorators and the rest of the crew do such a good job at transforming a location that it's hard to imagine movies not taking place in the setting they were filmed. But most of the time, that is what happens. One city can act as four in the span of a couple of months. This phenomenon also includes Canadian cities. There are so many iconic movies that were filmed in Canada.

It's easy for directors to find what they're looking for here in Canada because our country is so diverse. We have cities, we have farmland, we have forests, and we even have mountains. Not to mention filming here is a lot cheaper for production! Here are 8 movies that were actually filmed in Canada.
