Fans of reality TV wedding stories rejoice because a brand new series from the Canadian fashion stylist is coming soon. For this show, the theme isn't first-time marriages; instead, it gives couples an opportunity to redo their weddings. Jessica Mulroney's I Do, Redo premieres on March 22 and will be filled with emotion, tragedy, and many second chances.
An email to Narcity from Bell Media shared the premiere date and revealed that Mulroney stars in and executive produces the unscripted wedding series. The media giant writes that she is an "internationally acclaimed wedding expert and stylist" and the show "tells the emotional and extraordinary stories" of couples located in Canada, the U.S., and the Carribean.
According to the email, there are 10 couples with various situations that ruined the plans for their first wedding. Problems include a bad case of food poisoning, going into labour, a life-threatening illness, and even a violent flash flood.
Mulroney notes on her Instagram page that she is a fashion contributor on Good Morning America and Cityline. She is also the founder of The Shoebox Project and has a second Instagram account for "all things bridal" with 20,000 followers.
You might also know the 40-year-old as the best friend of Meghan Markle since the two met when they both lived in Toronto. Mulroney has a home with her husband and three kids in the city, and Markle lived there while filming Suits for seven years.
Earlier this month, Page Six reported that Markle's first TV gig since Suits would be on her BFF's reality TV series. The news outlet claimed they spoke to a "source close to the production team" who told them that "her guest spots will be 'sporadic.'"
However, the CTV Communications Twitter account quickly clarified the incorrect information stating "As confirmed to @PageSix yesterday, the Duchess of Sussex does not appear in upcoming @CTV series I Do, Redo."
Mulroney has been documenting some of the many gorgeous dresses she's worn while filming the show over the past few months.
Yesterday, she shared the very first commercial for the series which premiered during the 2020 Oscars.
You can catch the first episode of I Do, Redo on Sunday, March 22 at 7 p.m. EST on CTV.
