Canadian fans of the Jurassic Park franchise are getting the opportunity to experience the movie magic behind the films. Jurassic World 3 filming crews in BC are reportedly looking for extras to join the production which could mean potentially working alongside Chris Pratt.
The announcement was first reported by Reel News Hawaii on Twitter. They posted screenshots of the casting call released by the company Freeman Casting.
They’re looking for extras aged 25-65 to fill a variety of roles like fishermen and townsfolk.
Also on the apparent casting call is the productions filming location of Merritt, BC which is just a few hours outside of Vancouver.
Applicants are being asked to ensure that they remain available 1 to 2 days between February 25 and March 6 and must have their own means of transportation.
Interested Canadians can find out more and fill out applications on the casting agencies website. They must be submitted before the deadline of February 21.
What’s Filming currently has the film status as “underproduction” under the name Arcadia.
BC isn’t the only filming location for this movie. IMDb has Arcadia scheduled to also film at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England and O’ahu, Hawaii.
In addition to Chris Pratt, the movie will also star Bryce Dallas Howard and Laura Dern.
It’s set to hit theatres on June 11, 2021.
