Justin Bieber Has Postponed His Entire 'Changes' Tour Including 4 Canadian Dates

Fans have waited years to see him perform live again. However, Justin Bieber’s Changes Tour has been entirely postponed due to COVID-19. His North American journey that was set to kick-off May 14 has been delayed indefinitely.
In a statement released by Variety, a representative for Bieber announced that “In light of the current public health crisis, and with the deepest concern for all those being affected, Justin Bieber will be postponing all currently scheduled 2020 dates for The Changes Tour.”
The Stratford native had been showing fans that he was preparing for the 45-date tour. However, his representative relayed that no matter how much hard work has been put into the tour “he [Bieber] has always put the health and well-being of his fans first and foremost.”
The statement ended on a positive note with the reveal that all shows will eventually be rescheduled and that fans should “hold onto their tickets.”
According to the announcement Bieber is, “anxiously awaiting the opportunity to get back out on the road and perform in a space that is safe for everyone.”
The news was also posted by Bieber on his Instagram account with the caption, "The world is a scary place but we will all figure this out together. We held on to these dates as long as we could and I cannot wait to see all of you in person as soon as I can. Be safe and I will hopefully see you soon."
The stadium tour was set to stop in four Canadian cities later in the summer. New dates for his Ottawa, Quebec City, Toronto, and Montreal shows have yet to be announced.
In, the artist revealed the challenges he faced while preparing for his newest album and tour. While struggling with addiction, mental illness, and his , Bieber persevered and released his first album since 2015.
The Changes Tour will be the singer’s first stadium show since 2017.
