When the months shifted from September to October, you could instantly feel a change in the air. Long gone were the warm weather and last remnants of summer, and on came the chilly winds, pumpkin spice lattes, and Halloween decorations. Even though Halloween technically only lasts for one day out of the whole month, a lot of people spend the entirety of October getting in the spooky spirit and celebrating. Funnily enough, as soon as October comes to an end and November begins, people start doing the same thing with Christmas. Let It Snow on Netflix Canada will premiere this November.
Like with so many other holidays, a great way to get into the Christmas spirit is to watch holiday movies. Of course, you've got your classics like Elf, Home Alone, and A Christmas Carol, but it never hurts to add some new films to the roster! For Halloween this year, Netflix rolled out a great selection of scary movies to set the holiday mood, and they've already begun to announce their Christmas list of content.
This afternoon, the streaming service took to their IG stories to announce that their adaptation of the John Green novel Let It Snow would be coming to Netflix this November.
Let It Snow takes place in a small town on Christmas Eve, when a massive snowstorm locks a group of high school seniors together. While stuck in an unfortunate situation, the group begins to question their friendships, and uncover new opportunities and romances.
Although a trailer for the film has not yet been released, Netflix announced today that the movie will be available for streaming as of November 8, which means a trailer is likely to come in the next few weeks.
If you're the kind of person who likes to read the book before watching the movie, be sure to pick up a copy of Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle ASAP!
