If you logged into your Netflix account at all over this past weekend, you probably heard about a new series called Living with Yourself. After its first few days on the streaming service, the show has scored an 83% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is pretty high as far as Netflix's original ratings go. Most Netflix fanatics tend to binge-watch shows when they first come out, meaning they watch the entire series in one sitting which is pretty awesome in the moment, but when the show comes to an end, you realize you're going to be waiting quite a while before you get more. Living with Yourself season 2 is being demanded by Netflix users.
If you have yet to watch the new series, you may want to stop reading here, because there are some definite spoilers ahead. If you want to find out about the possibility of Living with Yourself season two though, read on!
In the first season of the show, we met Miles Elliot (played by Paul Rudd), a man who hates basically everything about his life - he feels as though he's stuck in a total rut and can't seem to work his way out, and things just keep getting worse.
When one of Miles' coworkers has a sudden change of attitude, he refers Miles to a local spa that's said to have a treatment that will totally boost your mood and improve your life. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, the treatment also costs $50,000.
Because he's so desperate to become a better person, Miles forks over the money to the two men running the spa. Approximately 24 hours later, he wakes up only to find himself buried alive in a secluded field, wearing nothing but a diaper.
Needless to say, the show only gets weirder from here, but that's exactly why people love it so much. Those who have already finished the first season of Living with Yourself are begging Netflix for a second season ASAP.
"Ok, Living With Yourself is definitely the best show I have seen in a while. I really, REALLY hope for a season 2, @netflix get on that! I need more of this show!", one user tweeted. "#Livingwithyourself I need season 2 now. Right this second. Give it to me," added another.
Although nothing has been confirmed by Netflix yet, the series' creator did confirm that there is great potential for a second season. "They’ve solved season one; there are certainly other big issues to come. And I also think there are other perspectives to be looked at," Timothy Greenberg told The Hollywood Reporter.
If a second season is on the way, we'll definitely be waiting for a while before we get it. It's been nearly a year since the hit series' You and Sex Education were released, and although follow-ups have been confirmed, we have very little information about them.
