Love is in the air! Now that April is officially here, a brand new lineup of content is ready to be released on Netflix, and you won’t believe what the streaming service has in store. Earlier today, the platform shared the trailer for Love Wedding Repeat, and the movie looks like it will be a total mess in the best way possible.

The new romantic comedy takes place during a wedding, while Jack (the brother of the bride) finds himself trying to balance his angry ex-girlfriend, the “one that got away”, and an uninvited guest who has misplaced their sleep sedative. On top of all of this, Jack wants to ensure that his sister also has the best day of her life.

What the trailer doesn’t reveal though, is that Jack is actually stuck in “alternate versions of the same day”, according to the synopsis on YouTube. From the sounds of it, viewers may just be in store for a Groundhog Day-inspired story!

Love Wedding Repeat stars actors like Sam Claflin (Love, Rosie), Jack Farthing (Poldark), Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire), Olivia Munn (The Predator), Eleanor Tomlinson (Poldark), Joel Fry (Game of Thrones), and Tim Key (Gap Year), among others.

The trailer hasn’t been out for long, but viewers are already comparing the new film to the 2007 hit, Death at a Funeral.

“This gives me Death at a Funeral vibes. The British version. Which isn’t a bad thing,” one person commented.

“Death at a Funeral, but it's a wedding this time," another viewer joked.

Other noteworthy projects coming to Netflix this April include How to Fix a Drug Scandal, Coffee & Kareem, as well as #blackAF.

Love Wedding Repeat is coming to the streaming service on April 10. You can check out the trailer for the new romantic comedy below.
