Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

In the first film from the Lord of the Rings series, a timid Hobbit teams up with eight companions as they head out on a journey to save Middle-earth from the Dark Lord Sauron.

The films are quite lengthy, but all three are currently available on the streaming service.

If you're looking for something that's more family-friendly, Madagascar is a great option. In the first movie, a group of animals find themselves moved from their home in a New York zoo to the island of Madagascar, where they must learn to fend for themselves.

Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark

Netflix currently offers a total of four Indiana Jones films with the oldest one being Raiders of the Lost Ark. The movie follows Indiana Jones as he is tasked by the U.S. government with finding the Ark of the Covenant before Hitler's Nazis do.
