Christmas is around the corner and right now it's just too satisfying to relax after work and watch a couple of feel-good holiday films. Every year, Netflix releases new originals with a festive theme, and though the recent A Christmas Prince sequel didn't impress critics, there are also tons of movies with high ratings to put on your list. If you're in the mood for something sweet, here are six Netflix Canada cheesy Christmas movies to snuggle up to this month.

A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish

Disney's Laura Marano and Gregg Sulkin star in the modern-day version of Cinderella with a Christmas twist. Marano's character has an evil stepmother and stepsister who try to hold her back from attending a gala that her love interest invites her to.

Christmas Wedding Planner

It doesn't get much cheesier than a movie about a wedding planner who ends up meeting a man while putting together an extravagant evening where the last thing on her mind is getting swept off her feet.

Santa Girl

Wizards of Waverly Place star Jennifer Stone plays the daughter of Santa who gets a short opportunity to have a real teenage life. She faces a dilemma when she meets Sam, played by Devon Werkheiser from Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and of course, they end up falling in love.

Christmas Inheritance

This 2017 Netflix Original film is as cheesy as it gets when the daughter of a CEO must travel to his tiny hometown in order to inherit his company. While she's there, she meets new people and a love interest who teaches her a lot about life.

The Holiday Calendar

This is another Netflix Original that centers around a photographer who's gifted a calendar that ends up having magical powers. It leads her to the love of her life and more amazing opportunities.

Christmas With A View

Another classic plot for Christmas movies involves food, and this 2018 film is about two chefs who are brought together by their shared interest in cooking which creates a budding romance during the holiday season.
