Starring the one and only Rachel McAdams, the movie follows a young man named Tim who finds out that he has the ability to travel through time. Determined to find true love, he uses his abilities to meet the woman of his dreams, over and over again, until she finally falls for him.

Instant Family

Rating: 7.3/10 on IMDb

If you're looking for a good laugh this weekend, look no further! Starring Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne, Instant Family tells the story of a couple who decides to open up their home and foster 3 children — only to realize they may be in way over their heads.

13 Reasons Why: Season 3

Rating: 7.9/10 on IMDb

Available as of August 23rd, the newest season of 13 Reasons Why is now streaming on Netflix Canada. Spoiler alert — in the third season Hannah Baker will be absent from the show entirely, however, there is lots of new drama and mystery in store surrounding the death of Bryce Walker.

Kidnap

Rating: 5.9/10 on IMDb

New to Netflix Canada, Kidnap is definitely worth a watch this weekend. Starring Halle Berry as main character Karla, this thriller follows a Mom who will stop at nothing to get her son Frankie back. After she witnesses him being kidnapped at the park, Karla sets off to stop the kidnappers herself.

Logan Lucky

Rating: 7/10 on IMDb

Starring Channing Tatum and Adam Driver, Logan Lucky takes you on a wild ride with two brothers looking to cash out at the Motor Speedway in town. With a plan to pull off a heist during one of the most popular races, walking away with the cash may be harder than it seems.

The Sinner: Season 2

Rating: 8/10 on IMDb

Released on August 20th, The Sinner returns to Netflix Canada this month for its second season. In the new season, Detective Harry Ambrose is investigating the case of a young boy who is accused of murdering his parents. While Jessica Biel originally starred in the first season, this season she will return as an executive producer.
