After what feels like hours of scrolling, you finally pick a new series, maybe one that's based on a friend's recommendation or because your favourite actor is in it. Before you know it, you've made your way through an entire series, hated every minute of it, but couldn't stop watching. Here are some of Netflix Canada's worst shows that people can't look away from.
Not all of the shows on this list are actually THAT bad - they've just received a lot of really bad reviews, and people absolutely love to trash them. Who knows though, you may just fall in love! Which one of these Netflix Canada's worst series will you watch first?
Rating: 7.1/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: If you're familiar with the website Nasty Gal, or the website's founder, Sophia Amoruso, then you definitely need to watch Girlboss. The show got a lot of harsh reviews and was cancelled after just one season, but it pretty accurately depicts the ups and downs of starting your own business.
Friends From College
Rating: 6.8/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: Because it has such a star-studded cast, people had very high hopes for Friends From College. The show stars the likes of Cobie Smulders, Fred Savage, and Keegan-Michael Key as a group of former college friends who reunite years later, only to realize that not much has changed.
Rating: 6.7/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: If you're attempting to watch this show sober, my only word of advice to you is: don't. If you're under the influence, however, and need some light entertainment, Disjointed is definitely a good way to kill time. The show stars Kathy Bates as a cannabis shop owner and depicts all the interesting clients who come and go from the store.
Rating: 6.9/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: A lot of people were waiting for years for the Full House reboot, so when Netflix announced they were bringing it back to life, the excitement was intense. Unfortunately, no matter how hard they tried, the show didn't receive the best reviews. It's still worth watching if you're hoping to feel a little nostalgia.
Haters Back Off!
Rating: 6.1/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: If you spent your time watching Miranda Sings on YouTube and actually enjoyed it, you may find her Netflix series somewhat bearable. If you can't stand her, you'll have a hard time getting through. Some people absolutely love the show though, so it may be worth checking out!
Rating: 7.6/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: As much as I love Ashton Kutcher, I'll be the first to admit that The Ranch isn't his best work. The series has received plenty of mixed reviews, and although it does have its funny moments, a lot of the humour is dry and the acting feels staged. Netflix recently announced the show is coming to an end soon though, so it may be worth binging before someone spoils it!
Happy binging, and don't worry! We promise these won't literally hurt your eyes.
