The Obamas Shared Their Summer Playlist & So Many Canadian Artists Made The Cut
They LOVE Drake.
The Obamas are probably the most influential people on this planet. Whether it be for their determination to save the world or their summer music playlists, people all over the globe look up to them. That's why it's so exciting when they include even a tiny part of Canada on any of their lists. The Obamas favourite Canadian artists were just released in their summer playlist.
The tweet announcing the playlist included the Obama's top 44 summer favourites and was tweeted by Barack himself:
Drake's "Too Good" featuring Rihanna topped the list at number one!
Shawn Mendes's newest hit with his new girlfriend Camila Cabello, "Señorita" came in a solid seventeenth!
Robin Thicke, who's father was Canadian, also surprisingly made the list with his "Can U Believe" at number forty-one.
Toronto artist Daniel Caesar made it onto the list at number fifteen with his song "Best Part".
What makes Obama's playlist something to look forward to is their influence from all walks of life, from growing up in the '70s, to being the president and first lady of the US, to having young daughters who probably force them to listen to some of their favorite tunes.
Their playlist included everything from "Juice" by Lizzo to "I've Got You Under My Skin" by Frank Sinatra. However, I'm pretty sure we'd all agree that our favourite picks have to be the ones released by our hometown heroes.
