"Ozark" Season 3 Is Coming To Netflix Canada & You Won't Believe How Intense It Is
The new season hits the streaming service on March 27.
Netflix’s favourite toxic couple is back again. After months of anticipation, the Ozark season three trailer is finally here, and from the looks of things, Marty and Wendy are finally seeking some help in the form of couple’s therapy.
According to TV Line, this new season will pick up six months after the finale of season two. Marty and Wendy’s Missouri Bell casino dreams are coming true, and despite her husband’s objections, Wendy is hoping to expand their empire with her new ally, Omar Navarro.
Whether she’s doing this out of spite towards Marty or confidence in herself is unclear, but the tension between the couple only continues to grow, putting a massive strain on their relationship. In the trailer, we see Wendy pull a gun on an unknown person, but based on what we know about the upcoming season, it wouldn’t be shocking to find out that it’s Marty.
TV Line also reports that things go from bad to worse for the Byrde family inwhen Wendy’s unpredictable brother Ben (played by Tom Pelphrey) shows up.
Viewers of the new trailer are already raving about the upcoming season, and some of them are even comparing Wendy to Breaking Bad’s Walter White.
“I feel like this show is so underrated. And it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It's what Breaking Bad was to AMC,” one viewer wrote.
“Wendy became Walter White 😂,” commented another.
Ozark hasn’t gone without receiving at least some of the credit it deserves. According to TV Line, Jason Bateman took home an Emmy for Best Director and Julia Garner received the award for Best Supporting Actress.
