Dan Levy’s Note To ‘Schitt’s Creek’ Will Get You Sobbing Even More Than The Series Finale
"My best wishes, and the warmest regards."
Grab your tissues! The Schitt's Creek series finale was an emotional roller coaster and Dan Levy's message to his castmates and fans will get you crying all over again. Plus he shared behind the scenes photos for you to relive the memories through.
After six hilarious and heartfelt seasons, the CBC sitcom came to its end last night with a half-hour episode followed by a one-hour long documentary.
The final episode saw David and Patrick say their vows with a ceremony officiated by Moira which also featured a sobbing best-woman Stevie.
After much character development and many highs and lows while living in the town of Schitt's Creek, the cast we know and love all got the happy ending they deserved.
That was largely thanks to co-creator, writer, and star Dan Levy who took to social media to share his gratitude for the cast and fans over the past seven years.
In his lengthy heartfelt message, Levy wrote, "Getting to tell these stories, build these characters, and watch them grow has been a privilege for which I will always be grateful. Working with this brilliant cast and crew and basking in the glow of their extraordinary talent for six amazing seasons are what I’m going to miss the most. We built a family on those sets and it’s reassuring to know that time won’t ever change that. I love you guys more than you will ever know."
Addressing the fans, Levy thanked them for sharing the show with friends, spreading its positive messages around love and acceptance, and teaching him that TV has the power to change people and their lives in inspiring ways.
Levy ended his note by writing, "Thank you for taking the time out of your busy lives to watch our show. I am forever grateful for this time we had together. Here’s to many more stories and many more memories, whatever they may be. With so much gratitude, my best wishes, and the warmest regards, DL x".

Looks like Moira wasn't the only one with some crazy hairstyles.
Since meeting Patrick in season three, his romance with David has totally become a staple storyline in the series.
