Taking a trip to a film or television set is always going to be magical. This is where everything goes down to create your favourite movie, or where your favourite television characters come to life. Film sets are where whole other worlds are imagined. Usually, when shows come to an end their sets are destroyed or moved to make room for an incoming production. Lucky for Schitt's Creek fans, although the show is wrapped you may still get the chance to visit the set! Schitt's Creek set tours will be hosted this winter by Dan Levy.
Although the entirety of the show was filmed here in Canada, Schitt's Creek pop-up sets are being built in both New York City at The Gallery at Metropolitan Pavillion, and Los Angeles at Goya Studios. The NYC location will be open to the public from December 13-15 and the LA location will be open from November 22-24.
While both locations are open to the public, Dan Levy is offering an exclusive opportunity to one lucky fan, “If you ever wanted to take a photo with me on the Rose Mansion staircase and then have it blown up to a uselessly oversized portrait, this is your only chance."
The winner of the contest will be flown to NYC with a friend for some TLC in a high-end hotel, get a private tour of the pop-up, and additional goodies to remember the experience. The contest is running through the platform Omaze making the experience even more rewarding.
To enter you have to make a minimum donation of $14 dollars that'll get you 100 entries! All the funds collected from the contest with be donated to the FSHD Society dedicated to patients with muscular dystrophy. You can enter the contest on Omaze here.
If you don't feel like entering the contest or are already in NYC you can secure a general admission ticket here. Reservations open on November 1 at 2:00 pm EST.
