Marianne

Rating: 100% on Rotten Tomatoes

When do we ever see a horror series get a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes? It's super rare and well deserved. This is probably the scariest series Netflix has ever produced so if you're looking for the thrill The Haunting of Hill House had, this is it.

Marianne follows a horror writer who realizes that her novels are happening in real life. She returns to her hometown with her assistant to investigate all of the occurrences.

The Mist

Rating: 72% on Rotten Tomatoes

The Mist is based on an adaptation of a Stephen King novel so you already know how messed up it must be. This show follows a small town in Maine that becomes trapped by a strange fog. They soon learn that unknown creatures hide behind the mist.

A new Stephen King movie will also be hitting the platform next month called In the Tall Grass.

The I-Land

Rating: 4.3/10 on IMDb

The I-Land is more of a psychological thriller but will still get your heart racing and have you constantly trying to figure out what's going on. It follows a group of strangers who have had their memories wiped and are put together to try and escape the island they're on.

Hemlock Grove

Rating: 38% on Rotten Tomatoes

Hemlock Grove has been on Netflix for a while now but that doesn't mean it's not binge-worthy. Especially if you're looking for something supernatural like The Haunting of Hill House. Netflix synopsis for Hemlock Grove reads, "Secrets are just a part of daily life in the small Pennsylvania town of Hemlock Grove, where the darkest evils hide in plain sight."

To add to the spookiness it even stars Bill Skarsgard also known as Pennywise the clown from the It movies.

Haunted

Rating: 4.5/10 on IMDb

Do you know what always makes horror movies and shows so much more terrifying? When they tell you it's based on a true story. Well, this Netflix series, Haunted, is just that. It interviews real people and their families of past events that have to do with ghosts, and other supernatural occurrences.
