While we may have to endure long hiatuses between the season finale and season premiere of a show the workers behind the scenes are working diligently to get us our content as soon as possible. That means that although season 3 of Stranger Things was just released this past summer, the writers are already hard at work to make their December 2020 deadline possible. Netflix Canada just showed us some behind the scenes workings with this Stranger Things season 4 sneak peek.
The Netflix Canada Instagram account posted this photo of the script for the first episode of season 4. The script page reads, "STRANGER THINGS 4" in bold letters and right below it the episode, "#401", and the episode title, "Chapter One: The Hellfire Club."
While the title could mean that the Hawkins gang could be headed to hell or at the very least something with hellish connotations, a lot of fans think the first episodes' title is in reference to a certain superhero.
In the X-Men comic, the "Hellfire Club" is actually a big part of the story. The club is made up of the bad guys who actually abduct X-Men Jean Grey to use as a weapon.
Not only is the Hellfire Club mentioned but Jean Grey has been compared to Eleven in the past. They both have similar psychic powers.
Either way, it looks like Stranger Things is stepping up their game yet again for season 4. After all, they do have to top their record of being the most-streamed series on Netflix ever.
They're already creating hype around season 4 that started yesterday when they deemed November 6 the official "Stranger Things Day" marking the anniversary of Will's original disappearance. They also released a blooper reel from season 3 for the first time ever, something Finn Wolfhard was extremely excited about.
Since the episodes are already being written, it's only a matter of time until the cast starts posting behind the scenes photos of season 4. We are so ready!
