With Christmas only a few months away, it looks like Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds is gearing up to give us all a Christmas present. The Hollywood Reporter announced this week that Ryan Reynolds will be staring in a musical remake of the Christmas Carol. Of course, while we love Chrismas almost as much as we love Ryan Reynolds, Canadians are excited to hear about his newest movie.

The Hollywood Reporter announced that Reynolds has signed on to perform in the Christmas Carol movie, with Sean Anders and John Morris, the writers and directors of the popular movie Daddy's Home.

However, while it's already exciting enough that Reynolds will be bringing the Christmas Carol back to life in yet another remake, it was also announced that Will Ferrell will also be staring in the movies as well.

While the movie has been announced, who these two actors will be playing is still on the down-low. Yet, with Will Ferrell's Christmas movie experience from Elf, and Ryan Reynolds hilarious acting skills, the movie is sure to be amazing.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the movie will be a musical version of the 1843 Charles Dickens' novel about Scrooge, who is visited by the classic ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future.

While the Christmas Carol has been redone multiple times in the past, including the popular Muppet and Bill Murray's version, this dynamic duo is sure to bring something extra to the table when it comes to this Christmas classic.

Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds has had a busy year when it comes to movies. The superstar was just recently seen in the newest Fast and Furious movie, Hobbs and Shaw.

Ryan Reynolds has starred in a variety of movies that make Canadians proud to call him one of their own.

In fact, if you can't wait until the release of this new Christmas movie, there are multiple Ryan Reynolds'movies that you can catch up on that are available on Netflix Canada.

Some of these movies include The Change-Up, Green Lantern, The Hitman's Bodyguard and Life.

While Reynolds and Ferrell have signed on for the Christmas Carol, it is still unclear exactly when the movie will be released.
