With just over a month left until Christmas comes, there's never been a better time to get into the holiday spirit, and what better way to do that than by watching Christmas movies? There are endless options out there, including The Knight Before Christmas on Netflix Canada, which was released today.

Like they've done in years past, Netflix has been releasing original holiday content all through the month of November to help spread cheer amongst its users. A few of the movies have received raving reviews so far, but there's still plenty more to come.

Today, November 21, the streaming service released a film called The Knight Before Christmas, starring Vanessa Hudgens. The movie was actually filmed right here in Canada and is a heartwarming holiday love story.

If you're not familiar with the plot, The Knight Before Christmas is about Brooke (played by Hudgens), a science teacher from Ohio who's been jaded by her past relationships. Cue Sir Cole (played by Josh Whitehouse), a medieval knight who mysteriously appears in Brooke's hometown, only to get hit by her car.

Shocked by the unexpected accident, Brooke stays by Sir Cole's side, taking care of him while he adjusts to this new and unfamiliar world. Before long, the unusual duo finds themselves catching feelings for one another.

The movie may have only come out this morning, but people are already watching it and falling in love with the adorable and romantic tale.

"Vanessa Hudgens's new Netflix movie 'The Knight Before Christmas' is just as perfect as you imagined. It is the charming, romantic fantasy you were hoping for," one user tweeted. "I dare you all to watch the knight before christmas (it’s on netflix) and not cry, difficult one," added another.

Some Twitter users also couldn't help but notice the subtle shoutout to another Netflix film, Holiday in the Wild in one scene.

The film has yet to receive a rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but by the sounds of things, it may just do as well as other Christmas movies like Let It Snow or Klaus.
