Are you ready for another wild ride? Tiger King On Netflix Canada has subscribers raving even weeks after it’s release. Luckily for them, the docuseries may only be the beginning of Joe Exotic’s Netflix journey.

Fully titled Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, this seven-part docuseries tells the story of country music singer and Oklahoma zoo owner Joseph Maldonado-Passage, also known as Joe Exotic.

When his wildlife conservation is threatened by Carole Baskin, another exotic animal owner, he devises a murder-for-hire plan that lands him in hot water with the law.

The series takes a look at what happens behind the scenes of the chaotic world of wildlife conservations. Viewers embark on a journey involving wealth, crime, cults and drugs, all from the comfort of their couch.

Producer Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss their future plans for the series.

Although they wouldn’t confirm whether a second installment was in the works, they did admit it was a “story that’s still unfolding” with a “crazy amount of footage” that has yet to be seen.

They may not be 100% sure whether or not they’ll be delving into the wild world again, however, they are sure whatever comes next will be “just as dramatic and just as colourful” as it’s counterpart.

As a testament to just how “colourful” this docu-series is, producers admitted to Entertainment Weekly that they’ve had to rebuke rumours that characters in the docuseries were paid to over-exaggerate their stories, “We did not pay people.”

While waiting for updated news on the potential sequel, you can check out some other shows on Netflix Canada just like Tiger King.
