It includes never before seen interviews!
You’re in for a wild ride! Recently, a trailer was released for a new true crime series on Prime Video called The Last Narc. The show will take viewers back to 1985 when DEA Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena was mysteriously murdered in what has become known as the most notorious kidnapping case in DEA history.
In the new docuseries, we will learn more about the fallen hero, the men who brutally tortured and killed him, and one man who risked it all to find out absolutely everything he could about the disappearance of Camarena.
A highly decorated special agent by the name of Hector Berellez was the one assigned to lead the DEA in their investigation of the murder.
Throughout the episodes of The Last Narc, he puts aside the propaganda and conspiracies in order to reveal what really happened all the way from the killing fields of Mexico to the halls of power in Washington D.C.
Never before seen interviews from Berellez, Camarena’s widow, and three Guadalajara Cartel insiders are just some of the things you'll witness as the gripping docuseries runs its course.
The three cartel members were all corrupt Jalisco State policemen who were serving as bodyguards to the legendary drug lords Rafael Caro Quintero and Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo.
Eventually, though, they became informants for Berellez and were able to help him crack the case on Camarena’s tragic murder.
The Last Narc will consist of four episodes, all of which will give audiences clarification on the most infamous murder that took place during the War on Drugs.
