Everyone has been talking about how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's romance is one for the movie screen but did anybody actually think someone would take the idea on? Apparently, Lifetime is not fooling around with the movie concept and has already cast the two leads for the flick about the newest royal relationship.
The movie is set for a TV release and should be coming out before the day the pair actually get married, being May 18th. So it makes sense that they've had to get a move on with casting and filming in order to get the film to TV screens before the actual big day. So who will be starring Meghan and who's starring Prince Harry?!
It turns out that an actress named Parisa Fitz-Henley will be taking on the role of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be played by Murray Fraser. Of course the story will follow the true story of the couple's romance, but considering how hush hush most of the details have been, it'll be interesting to see how Lifetime will fill in the gaps plot wise.
While we're sure Meghan could have done just fine playing herself in the movie considering she's no stranger to acting (especially when it comes to straight-to-TV movies), it's definitely impossible for her to do so now that she has left acting behind for royalty. Though you'd be lying if you said Parisa doesn't bear a pretty big resemblance to Meghan herself looks wise.
This isn't the first time that Lifetime has released a movie surrounding the royals. They put out a similarly styled movie for William and Kate called William & Kate: The Movie. Though if you were planning on checking that movie out, maybe don't considering the reviews are pretty sour. Here's hoping Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance will be better?
