Here's Everything We Know About The "This Is Us" Season Finale Next Week

This is going to be emotional.

We can't believe that the season two finale of "This Is Us" is already here. Season two has been an emotional rollercoaster, with Jack's death and Kate losing her baby, our heads have been spinning since the first episode back in September.

Since last fall, the network has been teasing that the dearly departed Jack may come back to the show, and after seeing Randall as an old man on the infamous SuperBowl episode, we suspected that Jack may come back into the show as an older version of himself. Well, it looks like the suspicions were true!

NBC released their first promo for the season finale and it's looking like a doozy. From the short clip, we can see that the final episode will show Kate and Toby's wedding. We flashback to Jack telling Kate, that "the guy that gets to marry you, Katie girl, is one lucky guy", and it seems like a mirage of Jack will come back to the show to support his little girl (and his wife, Rebecca) during the emotional celebration.

Jack says directly to Rebecca, "Where did the time go, Bec?" as he pushes a piece of hair out of her face, with Rebecca smiling back at him. We suspect that Jack will come back to each family member during the season finale. We know that the Pearsons' are always in need of some fatherly advice when it comes to these situations.

Maybe this means that this new "future timeline" will become a regular thing in the upcoming seasons. Creator Dan Fogelman told Deadline, "We show a new timeline, in the future, which is extremely exciting for a show that plays in time and has till-now played in the past/present". He went on to explain that all of these timelines have been meticulously planned, down to the very detail. He went on to add, "We didn't do it as a one-off... it's safe to say the future can play a big part in seasons to come."

We knew they couldn't take Jack out of the show for good. Fans are way too invested in the family patriarch for him to be taken out of the show for good.
