I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but it's inevitable that when new things come onto Netflix, they have to take some things off. We're already overwhelmed with the selection we have now, so it does make sense that other things are taken off. And this will probably be the worst news you hear this week: Love Actually is leaving Netflix Canada.
If you've never seen Love Actually, then this is your last chance! We confirmed back in November that Love Actually would be back on the streaming site. You've had 5 months to watch it, and now, it's being taken off Netflix Canada... and we're not sure if it's coming back.
While technically it does make sense that it's leaving, since it is a Christmas movie, that doesn't make it any easier! Fans went absolutely nuts when it was put back onto Netflix in November, so maybe we'll be graced with its presence this coming holiday season.
If you don't even know what Love Actually is about, it's about 8 couples trying to navigate through love during the holiday season. The film was released in 2003, but it's just grown bigger and bigger with time.
Maybe you're missing Christmas and want to get in one last viewing before it's taken off Netflix. The film stars Hugh Grant, Kiera Knightly, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, and many more. It's never too early to start thinking about Christmas, right?
Love Actually will be taken off Netflix Canada on May 7th. That gives you plenty of time to watch it once or multiple times. You're welcome! If you've never seen it, you can view the trailer below:
