Seeing as I was born at the very end of the '90s, I didn't get a chance to enjoy the iconic show that was Full House when I was growing up. It wasn't until a few years ago, when Netflix announced it would be creating Fuller House that I even heard much about the show. Four seasons later, Netflix has announced a fifth and final season for the series.
When the series was initially announced, all you 90s babies were filled with nostalgia and joy - finally, you would get to re-live a big part of your childhood that provided you with so much entertainment. Unfortunately, the show didn't entirely live up to the hype that everyone thought it would. People have said that it was cheesy, and didn't do the OG show justice.
Despite critiques, Fuller House has successfully put out four seasons on Netflix, and just a month after the fourth was released, they've announced this fifth and final season. The series' Netflix account posted a farewell video to Instagram just this morning:
The news may come as a disappointment to some, but I say that we all just appreciate that we got to enjoy another five seasons of a show that once brought so much joy (and more of John Stamos' face). A release date for the final season hasn't been shared yet, but the video says we can expect to see it this fall!
