The First Look At The New Harry Potter Mobile Game Is Here And We're Excited AF

You get to experience life as a Hogwarts student.

If you're a true Potterhead, then you definitely remember us telling you last year that a new Harry Potter mobile game was coming out soon! The creators of "Candy Crush" are in the developing stages of creating the Harry Potter mobile game similar to "Pokemon Go". The trailer version of the highly anticipated game "Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery" has been released and we have the first sneak peek!

This Harry Potter "role-playing game" actually looks amazing. You actually get to fulfil those dreams of receiving your official acceptance letter from Hogwarts, getting sorted by the sorting hat and learning spells and incantations. Jam City, the company behind the new game just dropped the brand new trailer this morning. This will seriously put those 90's Harry Potter computer games to shame.

Here's the trailer:

We don't understand why companies avoided making this seriously amazing game until now. The Harry Potter phenomenon is real and it's been going strong since the first book was released in 1997. Either way, we're incredibly excited.

From the trailer, we can see that it's much more interactive than Pokemon Go. In the game, you will see your favourite Harry Potter characters like Professor Dumbledore, Severus Snape, Minerva McGonagall and Hagrid.

You get to develop your own character, learn spells, make friendships and basically play out your life as if you were in the actual story. Oh, and you even get to discover parts of the castle and magical mysteries.

On their website, they also clarify that the new game will be launching under Portkey Games, a new label dedicated to creating experiences inspired by the magic and adventures of J.K. Rowling's wizarding world - which makes us think that this may be the first game in a long line of Harry Potter apps!

There isn't a final release date set yet, but fans can pre-register on their website to be notified when the game launches.
