Things are getting haunted at Netflix next year! Your favourite horror show is returning to Netflix and all the details were just released at Comic-Con in San Diego. It was announced a couple of months ago that "The Haunting Of Hill House" would be getting a second season but until now we didn't have any details. At a cast panel on July 18, Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Victoria Pedretti teased everything there is to know about Season 2. "The Haunting of Hill House" is coming back to Netflix in 2020!
The first season began trending on Netflix, especially after outlets reported that the show was so scary that it was making some viewers throw up. The show will definitely be successful no matter what, especially if it's as creepy as season one, but there are some surprises that were revealed at Comic-Con about the upcoming season that'll definitely be interesting to watch play out on our screens.
We compiled everything we know about the upcoming season just for you!
It's Going to be Called The Haunting of Bly Manor
Although this is technically the second season, the show will be getting a name change. Instead of The Haunting of Hill House, the second season will go by The Haunting of Bly Manor.
Main Actors Will Be Returning
Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Victoria Pedretti, who played Luke and Eleanor Crain, will be returning! Although they won't be resuming the same roles, the two will both be living in this Bly Manor.
Pedretti's character has been described by Netflix as, "a governess who's hired to watch over two children in a remote estate." There is less known about Cohen's character but at comic-con, he revealed that he's playing, "a charming young man who lives at Bly" and who "makes life difficult for everyone there."
Based Off "The Turn Of The Screw"
The new season will be a horrific twist on the classic "Turn Of The Screw". The original book follows a governess who looks after two young children in manor she believes to be haunted.
There hasn't been a specific date released yet but we do know it'll hit Netflix sometime in 2020! Hopefully, we'll hear about some filming news soon!
