The gang is back together! Well, sort of. When it was announced back in 2016 that Fuller House was a thing, fans of Full House went nuts. We can all agree that Full House was a huge part of our childhood, and it was so great to see the cast be closer than ever after all these years. Sadly, after 5 seasons, the show is coming to an end. However, the last ever table read for Fuller House excludes Lori Loughlin.
Even though the Fuller House cast hasn't really commented on it, they've passively mentioned Lori Loughlin's situation and said "family is family". If there is one thing Full House taught us as kids, it's just that. If you're not sure why Lori Loughlin aka Aunt Becky won't be in season 5, it's because she is currently awaiting her sentencing.
Back in March, it was revealed that Lori Loughlin, along with her husband Mossimo Giannulli, bribed $500,000 to get their daughters Olivia and Bella into USC. This was the biggest college admissions scam that the US has ever seen, so for Lori to be involved, it was a pretty big deal. So big that she and her husband were arrested, and are now awaiting their sentencing. The two have pleaded not guilty, which could land them 40 years in jail.
Andrea Barber, who plays the ever-annoying Kimmy Gibbler on Fuller House, recently posted a YouTube video titled "The Last First Fuller House Table Read". In the video, you can see that the entire cast is present. But a few familiar faces are missing. Lori is nowhere to be seen, and neither is John Stamos and Dave Coulier. Chances are if Aunt Becky doesn't have a storyline in season 5, Uncle Jesse probably doesn't.
In the video that Andrea Barber posted, no one mentioned Lori's name, which was to be expected. Unfortunately for Lori Loughlin, her name may not even be brought up in the show. When news broke of her scandal, a Fuller House production member told TMZ, "Fuller House is not currently in production. Lori is a guest star and was during the previous 4 seasons and there are currently no plans for her to return to the 5th season."
Lori deleted all of her social media once the news broke, so she's definitely not seeing the cast posting about their return to the show for the last ever season. Sources say that Lori and her husband are 'secluded' from the rest of the world right now, and they're both currently not working. Hopefully, this is something they both can come back from.
