ABC has just dropped the first trailer for the new season of The Bachelor and it honestly is making our insides cringe. Forget being the most dramatic season ever – this will be the most cringe-worthy season ever, cue Chris Harrison's voice. Colton Underwood will officially be The Bachelor for season 23.
Anchorman Canada episode for (11.21.2018)
His claim to fame is being a virgin on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette and crying into his sweater on the beach over Tia Booth on the last season of Bachelor in Paradise. There's no way anyone could ever forget that he is a virgin because ABC won't stop reminding us. A drinking game should be made based on how often they emphasize that he is a virgin. Need further proof? Look at their promo photo and then watch the promo video and count how many times "virgin" is said.
The promo video was posted on The Bachelor Facebook page yesterday. Since being uploaded onto Facebook less than 24 hours ago, the trailer has gathered one million views and thousands of comments.
Here's the full trailer.
Bachelor nation has responded and it doesn't look like many fans are looking forward to Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor, and that's us putting it nicely. Side note, petition to bring back Peter Kraus and make him Bachelor? That would satisfy every Bach nation fan out there.
The reactions to the trailer (which might be the cringest Bachelor trailer we've seen yet) have been downright hilarious and savage and we are so here for it. Check out some of the best Twitter reactions and Facebook comments so far. From the looks of it, many members of Bachelor Nation wanted past Bach contestants Peter, Blake, Jason or even Ben Higgins for The Bachelor – basically anyone but Colton.
Would have been more purfect with Blake as the bachelor. See what I did there lol— shane woods ☕️ (@theshanewoods) November 15, 2018

Just watched Colton leap over a 10 foot fence with minimal effort in a preview for #thebachelor and that’s prolly the main reason I’m gonna watch (besides having a daughter that is a direct result of this franchise)— Evan Bass (@ebassclinics) November 20, 2018
The newest season of The Bachelor will premiere on January 7th. The list of contestants has not been released yet, but from the looks of the trailer, it's going to be a wild season. In the promo trailer, one even girl says "So, I have not dated a virgin since I was 12". Yeah, we're going to leave that right there and interpret what you will from it.
