The Trailer For Netflix's FYRE Festival Documentary Is Here And You Won't Believe How Disastrous It Looks

'FYRE: The Greatest Festival That Never Happened' is coming to Netflix on January 18th.

As the years go on, it seems as though music festivals are becoming more and more popular. Most people dream of going to the big ones, like Coachella, Shambhala, and Rolling Loud, among others. Back in 2017, a new festival was announced, and it was said to be bigger and better than all the rest. Well, the trailer for Netflix's FYRE Festival documentary is here, and you won't believe how disastrous it looks.

Tell me this though - if something was advertised to you as a massive, luxurious party on the beaches of a private island with all your favourite artists, models, and celebrities, would you not be tempted to go?! Because of its super strategic marketing plan, tickets to FYRE Festival sold out within 48 hours.

As you can see in the trailer, people paid good money for this, and as a result, they were expecting great food, cozy accommodations, and seriously awesome entertainment. What they got though, was wet, sandy mattresses, no celebrity performances, and... cheese, on toast. Definitely not worth the thousands of dollars dished out.

People have called FYRE Festival the biggest scam they've seen in years, and we can see why. Patrons received NOTHING like what they were promised, leaving them wondering what their thousands of dollars went towards. If you're curious about what really led to the demise of FYRE Festival, be sure to check out the documentary, coming to Netflix on January 18th.
