"He just doesn't look like type to kill somebody", says a young girl in the trailer. Well, even though she's right, Ted Bundy is one of the most gruesome serial killers of all time. From February 1974 to February 1978, Ted Bundy murdered over 30 women and one man. People that knew him claimed he was a regular, normal guy, and women gushed over him. Little did they know. Well, the trailer for Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes is here and it looks haunting.
Now, the trailer came out for this docuseries today and let me warn you, it looks hard to get through. It took him a while to get caught because he didn't 'look like a serial killer', so people often missed the mark. Even when Ted was on trial, he was weirdly adored by women everywhere. Well, hopefully this documentary changes your mind.
Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes is a docuseries that will revolve around never-before-heard interviews with the serial killer. If you've ever seen an interview with the serial killer before, then you would know he never seemed sympathetic towards the women he murdered. Which is even more bizzare why women loved him.
In the trailer, you can hear Ted Bundy saying, "I mean I'm not an animal, and I'm not crazy. And I don't have a split personality, I mean I'm just a normal individual." While we kind of beg to differ, I guess the docuseries will give us a true insight into the person he was, even though the trailer mentions every time he killed someone he felt fulfilled.
For some of these interviews, the serial killer was actually on death row. Even just the trailer looks haunting so I can't imagine what the four episodes of the series will be like. Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes premieres on January 24th, which is the exact date he was executed on. You can watch the trailer below.
