On Wednesday night, HBO halted all of their regular programming to tease a brand new trailer for Westworld season two. We couldn't be more excited to see what's going to happen next in the dystopic sci-fi thriller story.
I'm not joking when I say that the robots are creepier than ever. If you thought season one was intense, just wait until you see this. The storyline follows the revolt against the humans that takes place in season one.
Dolores teases that the "reckoning" is here. In the picture above, you can see the carnage that was left after the revolt. Maeve continues to show her humane side and demands to see her daughter.
Dolores explains that the reckoning is happening, "It's us or them". Dolores continues to discuss Westworld with Bernard (or Arnold?) and explains that they are still fighting for their lives. There are multiple scenes of Dolores leading what looks like an army into battle.
It seems like there may have been a few easter eggs hidden in the trailer of what's to come. Maeve looks like she may become a geisha (in a different park?!), there are tons of Bernards/Arnolds and some weird internal organ that may or may not be a heart?
The creepiest part of the trailer has the ending when Bernard tells Dolores that she frightens him, to which in her sweetest most southern accent she says, "Why on earth would you ever be frightened of me?"
Yes, Dolores - You frighten all of us but we can't wait to see you in season two of Westworld!
