Beware The Slenderman // 2016
This HBO documentary debuted last March and is based on real life events that occurred based on the legend of Slenderman. If you haven't heard of the character, you're lucky because he's sure to keep you up at night if you read too much about him. Though the documentary primarily focuses on two teenage girls who killed their friend in the name of the 'fictional' creature which is even creepier than the original scary story itself!
The Imposter (2012)
This documentary is seriously insane, it follows the story of film maker Bart Layton who documents his experience convincing a random family that he was a long lost family member who had disappeared years before hand. It's the perfect creepy flick to watch if you don't like gore or actual horror but can appreciate a good creepy story!
