This Bizarre James Franco Film Is Getting Incredible Reviews (It Has A 95% On Rotten Tomatoes)
The cast is incredible!
Think of James Franco and his extensive film catalogue - Pineapple Express, This Is the End and The Interview may come to mind. The actor has mostly been synonymous with comedy films up until now, but if his latest movie says anything, the actor is ready to starting to break into some really creative roles.
The Disaster Artist centres on the true story of how a man chasing his dream to make a cinematic masterpiece which leads to the creations of one of the worst films in history - and a big cult classic.
It's bizarre, to say the least, but it's getting incredible reviews - including a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes so people are clearly loving it.
The movie that The Disaster Artist centres on called The Room is known for its so-bad-it’s-good charm. In fact, critics have called it The Room 'the worst movie ever made'. But Franco's take on the film looks beyond that and finds the humanity in its writer, Tommy Wiseau, and his story.
It's also the first time Franco and his brother, Dave, star in a film together. Yup, that's right. Double Franco.
And if that's not enough to make you want to see this critically acclaimed film, then the fact that Dave's girlfriend, Alison Brie, and Seth Rogen, James’s best pal, also star in it just might. And according to IMBD, so do Zac Efron and Josh Hutcherson.
The Disaster Artist is playing now in Toronto, and everywhere else on December 8th.
