This New Netflix Movie Is An Odd Mix Of 'The Devil Wears Prada' And 'The Parent Trap'

Best of both worlds.

When it comes to Netflix originals, it seems like there are 20 new ones each week. While we're totally not complaining, sometimes the movies get really mixed reviews. However, Netflix has been killing the game lately with trailers, especially for this new show that's a mix between Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars. And now they've released a new movie trailer that's literally a perfect mix between The Devil Wears Prada and The Parent Trap and we're living for it.

The movie, which is called Set It Up, deals with two assistants that are miserable at their jobs because their bosses are miserable. Their highly demanding jobs interfere with their lives, so they decide to take innovative and set up their two bosses and make sure they fall in love. It's like every rom-com we've ever needed and more.

Starring Zoey Deutch, Lucy Liu, Glen Powell and Taye Diggs, this Netflix original shows the two assistants doing everything in their power to make sure they will fall in love, therefore be less miserable and less demanding. The trailer shows the two assistants going as far as keeping them in a "broken" elevator together, to paying someone to make them be on the kiss cam at a baseball game. It seems like everything goes right, but something definitely has to go wrong.

In other news, Chrissy Teigen, the queen of Twitter, asked Netflix where all of the romcoms were a couple months back, and we've been wondering the same thing. Scary movies so scary people have to turn them off are great, but sometimes we want something more light hearted. Yesterday, Netflix replied to Chrissy and quoted the trailer. Thank god for social media.

Of course, in romcom fashion, the two assistants seem to fall for each other while coming up with the hilarious plan. This Netflix original movie will be available to watch on June 15th, and we can't wait. You can watch the full trailer below.
