This New Netflix Movie Is About The Struggles Of Adulting And It’s So Relatable
'Unicorn Store' will be streaming on Netflix on April 5th.
When I was a kid, I always thought that by the time I reached the age of 20, everything would make sense. Well now, here I am, freshly 20 and still not entirely sure what I'm doing. As I've gotten older, I've realized that nobody really knows what they're doing, and that's what makes life so wonderful - at least we can seek comfort in the fact that we're all totally lost together. If you're looking for even more reminder that you're not alone, this new Netflix movie is about the struggles of adulting and it's so relatable.
The new film is called Unicorn Store, and it's directed by Brie Larson, who also stars in the film. It tells the story of Kit, a woman who's been kicked out of art school and has taken a temporary position at a PR firm. It's definitely not the life she dreamed of, but Kit has plans to make it work. Life is pretty subpar for Kit at this point until she receives a mysterious invitation that is.
The invitation takes Kit to the store, where she meets a salesman, played by Samuel L. Jackson, who grants her a wish that makes all of her childhood dreams and fantasies come true. Suddenly, Kit feels as though she has the confidence and the power to take over the world. You can check out the trailer for Unicorn Store below:
The film will be available for streaming on Netflix as of April 5th, but in the meantime, you can catch Brie Larson on the big screen in Captain Marvel.
