This New Netflix Series Is The Star-Studded Comedy You've Been Waiting To Binge Watch
It has all of our favourite celebrities in it 🙌
You've finished, are over , and are waiting for to come out. As a Netflix fan, you may find yourself stuck in limbo with no new, notable originals to watch.
The solution? One star-studded comedy that answers all of your binge-watching prayers.
Netflix quietly dropped their celebrity-filled original, Easy, last year, and it checks off all the boxes when it comes to comedy-drama TV series. Most importantly, it checks off the 'incredible cast' box. We have two words for you: Orlando Bloom.
A series of eight half-hour episodes, Easy depicts a collection of brief stories depicting sexual and/or romantic relationships in Chicago, with each episode tracking a new couple’s journey.
The first series has a slew of A-list celebs including Dave Franco (21 Jump Street), Emily Ratajkowski (Gone Girl), Orlando Bloom (we don't need to tell you what he's been in), Malin Akerman (The Heartbreak Kid), Jake Johnson (New Girl) and Elizabeth Reaser (Twilight).
And the second series, which drops on Netflix next Friday, adds more A-listers like Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation), Joe Lo Truglio (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Michaela Watkins (Wanderlust), and Judy Greer (13 Going On 30), to the cast list.
The first season of the show, which scored a whopping 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, had eight episodes with eight different storylines, including one that was performed almost entirely in Spanish. And the second season is expected to follow suit.
Joe Swanburg, who wrote, directed and exec produced the show, is considered one of only a handful of writer-directors associated with mumblecore, a style of low-budget filmmaking where dialogue is improvised.
Season one of Easy is already on Netflix, but you better binge-watch fast: season two is available for streaming December 1st.
